Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions at Irish Universities Association (IUA)
Since 1996, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) have supported researchers from all over the world at all stages of their careers and from all disciplines. The MSCA has a bottom-up approach and encourages transnational, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility with a focus on training, skills and career development. Under Horizon Europe, Irish organisations have secured an impressive €34 million in MSCA funding to date.
The MSCA Work Programme for 2023-2024 has now been published with details and deadlines for MSCA calls including COFUND, Doctoral Networks, Staff Exchanges and Postdoctoral Fellowships.
There have been some changes compared to previous work programmes including:
· Introduction of a coordination and support action on feedback to policy from MSCA projects.
Interested in applying for MSCA funding? Ireland has two MSCA NCPs, Dr Yvonne Halpin (Head of IMSCO and National Delegate) and Dr Jane Carrigan, who offer support and guidance to MSCA applicants from across the research and innovation system including Higher Education Institutions, research organisations, private enterprise, civil society organisations, public bodies and beyond. The Irish Marie Skłodowska-Curie Office (IMSCO) has a number of resources available here.
