What is COST?
COST Actions are research and innovation networks funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology association. These networks connect researchers and innovators from different countries to collaborate on various scientific and technological topics.
How can I get involved?
Each Action is structured around a number of working groups and individuals can apply to join the networks of interest directly via the Action webpage. You can search through the full list here.
Actions are led by management committees (MC) and Ireland can nominate two members to each Action MC. If you are interested in serving, please contact Ireland’s COST National Co-ordinator, David Flood [email protected] , to learn more and request a nomination form. You can get more detail on the role and responsibilities of the MC by reading section three of this document.
When is the next COST Collection deadline?
COST has opened the annual call for new proposals in 2025. The deadline this year is October 21st. If you would like to develop an application, please contact David Flood to get some advice and hear about the COST Co-ordinators grant available from Enterprise Ireland.
